ME
I'm a 20-year veteran of early-stage, B2B software companies. I've been Hire #3, Hire #50 and in-between. My companies have ranged from 3-250 people, revenue ranges of < $1M to $25M, and have been boot-strapped, angel-funded or backed by high-profile VC firms.
I've been the leader of thriving multi-tier product and marketing organizations, small and growing teams, and a one-woman show. I'm a very capable hiring manager, mentor and growth planner.
Start-ups aren't for everyone, but I thrive in their chaos. I love finding and negotiating the good-enough line in every aspect of the organization, right-sizing people and process and balancing today's pragmatism with tomorrow's need for scale.

I have great admiration for my peers that spend their free time writing books or blogs about their craft, but I'm not built that way - I am an outdoor girl through and through. When I'm not working, I'm backpacking, cycling, running, riding, racing or training for one of those. If I can be doing that with my husband, kids and 2 stupid boxers, even better!
